She was predeceased by: her husband Athial "Hie" Gilbert. She is survived by: her son Mark Gilbert (Leslie); her grandson Hie Gilbert; her siblings, Kenneth Gamble (Ninna), Nellie Ruple, Margie Young and Linda Kelly (James); and also Shawn Gilbert (Kristen).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reno Baptist Church (21256 US-11, Lake View, AL 35111). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Reno Baptist Church Cemetery (21256 US-11, Lake View, AL 35111).
