She was predeceased by: her husband Roddy C. Howell Sr.; her parents, Helen Mendelsohn and Dick Mendelsohn; and her brother Marvin Mendelsohn. She is survived by: her sons, Roddy C. Howell Jr. (Tracy) and Marvin; her siblings, Marty Mendelsohn (Margie), Eva Sherrell (Jerry), Carole Carroll (Petie) and Mildred Vanoy (James); and her grandchildren, Roddy Howell III (Kelsey), Bethany Britnell (Eric), Heather Elders (Lee), Cody Howell (Tessa) and Kalie Howell. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
Connie was one of the many people that fell victim to the COVID-19 viral pandemic along with many members of her family even though all were extremely cautious.
