He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Frank Kimbrell and Julia Brand Kimbrell; his wife Sarah Mae Kimbrell; his former wife Mary Bernice Kimbrell; his siblings, Maburn Kimbrell and Mavis Kimbrell Harris; and his grandchildren, Randi Michelle Kimbrell and Eric Lee Kimbrell.
He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Kimbrell (Roni) and Dale Kimbrell (Kim); his grandchildren, Aspen Collins (Scott), Jonathan Kimbrell and Krista Kimbrell; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Maddie, Dayton, Payton and Addie; his stepchildren, Scott DeMott and Cheri DeMott Majors; and his siblings, Joyce Boles (Aaron "Shorty"), Perry Kimbrell (Christy), James "Bunt" Kimbrell and Don Kimbrell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
