She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jimmy R. Shelton, Norman E. Shumaker (Tommy) and Walter McBrayer; her son Randal Keith Shelton; her parents, Herman H. Poe and Eunice Poe (Bubba); her brother Norman Poe; and her nephew Norman Poe (Tut).
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. Shelton (Sandy) and Donna Shelton Smith; her daughter-in-law Olivia Shelton (Libby); and her grandchildren, Kristi, Heath (Scott), Josh Shelton (April), Cassie Peterson (Matthew), April Shelton, Megan Smith and Andrew Smith. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
