He was predeceased by: his father James "Bud" Cofer; and his brother David Cofer. He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Cofer; his brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) and Buddy (Jennifer); his cousins, Billy Ray (Patty), Brian (Renee), Beverly, Susie and Blake; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Andy, Justin, Emily, Dave, Chuck, Kyle, Caroline, Jackson, April, Amanda, Levi and Brittany.
