He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Howell Pennington; his parents, Aubia Pennington and Nellie Simmons Pennington; and his brother Terry Pennington. He is survived by: his children, Jerry R. Pennington and Jessica Pennington (Arturo); his grandchildren, Cody Pennington and Gaby Pennington; his brothers, Ricky Pennington (Connie) and Ronnie Pennington (Patty); his sister-in-law Teresa Pennington; his aunt Gracie Hamrick (Buddy); and his mother-in-law Linda Howell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to social distancing, in-person attendance for his funeral service will be limited to family.
