He is survived by: his children, Allison Pope Tims (John), Thomas Irby Pope IV (Teresa), Louis Paul Pope, John Tinney Pope (Rachel) and James Hartman Pope (Leah); and his grandchildren, Payton Pope, Emma Pope, John Andrew Pope, Louis Pope and Walker Pope.
