With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Bamberg Sr. of Marion, Alabama, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Clifford Bamberg and Annie Elma Sims; and his siblings, Annie Greenway, Bernice Bamberg, Mabel Bamberg, Irma Hobson, O'Neil Bamberg, Sara Clements, Clifford Bamberg, Gathon Bamberg and Waymon Bamberg.
He is survived by: his wife Vermelle Phillips Bamberg; his children, Carolyn B. Edwards (Harold), Harriette B. Jones (Alan), Margaret B. Sellars (Curtis) and Thomas "Tommy" F. Bamberg, Jr. (Linda); and his sisters, Ida Mae B. Crocker and Neva B. Aiken. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
