She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doyle Hartley and Carolean Colburn Hartley; her daughter Sonya Henry (Luke) of Marion; her sisters, Fannie Lipham and Becky Stone (Wayne); and her grandsons, Dylan Henry and Justin Henry.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Youth.
