She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Elburn Hicks and Minnie Pearl Clark Hicks; and her son Eugene Terry. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Carter; her children, Kenneth Terry (Teba) of West Blocton, Donald Carter (JoAnn) of Heiberger, Kelly T Corley of Indiana and Crystal Gail Averette of Brent; her sister-in-law Mary Hicks of West Blocton; and her father-in-law Lewis Carter. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
