It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Lavonia Thomas (Marion, Alabama), who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Spencer Bamberg and Lucile Wigger Bamberg; and her daughter Lynn Swindal (Scott). She is survived by: her husband Franklin Thomas; her son Matthew Thomas (Tammie); her grandchildren, Johnny Swindal (Sydney), Makayla Tucker (Kurt), Matilyn, Chloe and Emma Lucille Thomas; her great grandchildren, Laiken Swindal and Lily Rose Swindal; and her siblings, Lawrence Bamberg (Anne), Russell Bamberg (Valerie) and Patti Thomas (Brian). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Youth.
