We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2022, at the age of 96, Robert Vester Nichols Sr. of Marion, Alabama, born in Sprott, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Lee Nichols and Mamie Stone Nichols; his wife Margaret Wallace Nichols; and his son Bobby Lee Nichols. He is survived by: his sons, James Clifton Nichols (Ruth) and Robert Vester Nichols, Jr. (Beth); his daughter-in-law Jane Nichols; his grandchildren, Preston Lee Nichols (Wendy), Andrea Nichols Gilley (Darren), Lindsey Nichols Bushey (Mike), Bert Nichols and Jay Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Mary Margaret Nichols, Camille Nichols, Caitlyn Gilley and William Lee Bushey.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Siloam Baptist Church, Marion, AL in his memory.
