He is survived by: his wife Carol Nichols Dunkin; his sons, Robert Leon Dunkin (Sommer) of Marion and Roger Lee Dunkin (Tricia) of Marion; his sister Doris Dunkin Persons (Charles); and his grandchildren, Hunter Layne Dunkin, Brittney Bramlett (Anthony), Dylan Green (Lacey), Kally Blackmon (Daniel) and Taylor Green.
