He was predeceased by: his parents, Greely J. Barton and Annie Rinehart Barton. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Smith Barton; his daughter Lesia Barton Hightower (Paul); his grandsons, James Houston Hightower and Justin Barton Hightower (Lacey); and his great grandchildren, Kelsey Hightower, Harper Hightower, Hailynn Hightower and Hayes Hightower.
