He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Clovis and Drexel Murray Hamilton; and his siblings, Murray Hamilton, Travis Hamilton (Buddy) and Joan Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Cranford Hamilton of Detroit; his children, Brenda Real (Kenneth) of Detroit, Diane Baker (Tillman) of Phil Campbell and Lyn Hamilton, Jr. (Caroline) of Hurst, Texas.; his grandchildren, Hannah Real of Jasper, John Hamilton of Leeds, Riley Baker (Debra) of Phil Campbell, Matthew Real (Allie) of Hamilton, Luke Baker of Phil Campbell, Rachel Hamilton of Dallas, Texas, Caleb and Katelyn Hamilton of Hurst, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Collyn, Rhett and Alec Real of Hamilton; and his brother Charles Hamilton of Hamilton.
