It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Peterson (Marion, Alabama), who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benji Peterson and Lou Peterson; and his siblings, Richard, Herman, Otha, John, Willie L., Brady, Mamie O'Neil, Mildred Jean and Betty Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Emma; his children, Gwendolyn Peterson, Brenda Peterson of Ft. Wayne, IN and Lloyd, Jr. Peterson (Sallie) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Birmingham, AL and Jessie Peterson; his sisters-in-law, Anne Robinson of Marion, AL, Martha Peterson and Juanita Peterson; his daughters, Carleta Hogue, Kanijah Dunnican, Sandra Calloway and Viola Nelson; his nephew Carlton L. Hogue A; and his close friend Prother Cole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
