It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julian McIntosh Ennis of Marion, Alabama, born in Livingston, Alabama, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Washington Ennis and Mildred McIntosh Ennis of Livingston; and his sister Dr. Mildred Ennis Howell. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Bethenie Ennis Taylor and Julian McIntosh "Mac" Ennis II; his grandchildren, Leighton and Jack Taylor; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ennis Hillhouse of Mountain Brook and Robert W. Ennis (Virginia) of Tuscaloosa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Marion Methodist Church.

“I was so sorry to hear of Julian’s passing.I had not seen Julian for many, many years but will always have fond memories of him especially in our childhood.My brother, Jimmy Carr, and Julian were best friends as little boys.We all lived on the same street and even though I was 5 years younger than them I was included in a lot of their escapades.They could be quite mischievous to say the least.Julian was always so sweet to me and always let me touch his “flat top”haircut.Sissy Carr, Carole Peters”
