She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace H. Thomas; and her sister Dorthy M. Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Thomas (Marlene) and Kelly Thomas; her siblings, Bernice M. Johnson (James), Luther A. Massey Jr. (Linda) and Freddie Lee Massey (Wanda); and her grandchildren, Ashley and Marshall.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
