He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Britten Meeks and Lillian George Meeks; and his sisters, Lacy Meeks and Rhonda Meeks. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Meeks; his children, Jerry "Doc" Meeks (Michelle), Wendy Ledbetter (Tony), Misti Denmark (Heath), Michael Huffman (Denise) and Krystle Walker (Quinton); and his sister Catherine Mainer (Jim).
