He is survived by: his nieces, Willie M. Tucker, Beatrice Talley and Yvonne Mills; his nephew Andre B. McGowan; his close friends, Helen Kynard, Bennie Rutledge and Timothy Collins; and also Jerome Kirk. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews other relatives and friends.
