She was predeceased by: her mother Rosie L. Hawkins; and her siblings, Annie Mae Walker, Dorothy Mae Sewell, Mildred Sanders, Louise Ford, Gene A. Hawkins, William A. Hawkins, John Hawkins and Charles Hawkins.
She is survived by: her son Henry Lee Harris, Jr.; her siblings, Delois Billingsley, Mary B. Collins, Rosa Corfield, Joe Lewis Hawkins (Angela) and David Hawkins (Georgia); her grandchildren, Henrietta Sawyer, La'shanti Harris, Marianna Harris (Marion), Garey Edwards (Gadsden), Jordan Howze (Tuscaloosa) and Keytavius Woods; and her great grandchild Demontae Taylor, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, classmates, relatives and friends.
