He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie Rutledge and Alberta Rutledge; his wife Sadie M. Rutledge; his children, Sandra Rutledge and Douglas L. Rutledge; his sisters, Naomi Patterson, Ola Gardner, Odessa Dunn, Carrie Hutchinson and Elnora Cole; his children, Nancy T. Jones, Georgia Rawls (Spergon), Michael A. Rutledge, Karen D. Rutledge-Bell (Richard), Cathy D. Rutledge, Arthur B. Rutledge, Jr. and Willis Jeffery Rutledge; and his siblings, Linton Charles Rutledge (Flora) and Josephine Rutledge. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
