He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ellis and Myrtle Crews Ellis; and his sisters, Gloria Self (Dan) and Linda Caple (Roger). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Ellis; his children, Chris Ellis (Carol) and Angela Blocker (Dale); and his grandchildren, Natalie Blocker, Matthew Blocker and Dylan Ellis.
