She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Goree, Jr.; her siblings, Loin Williams (Bish), George Williams (Tuttie), Joe Williams, Robert O. Williams, Jr., Dora Wynne and LaDell W. Davidson; and her granddaughter Lytonia C. Fowler.
She is survived by: her son James Goree, III (Beverly); her granddaughters, Janetha Goree Henderson (David) and Gwanna "Shay" Fowler; her great grandchildren, Donavan W. Henderson of Bessemer, Alabama and David S. Henderson, Jr. of Bessemer, Alabama; her sister Roxie Goree (Palmer) of Marion, AL; and her close friends, Thelma Lewis and Earline Lapsley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
