He is survived by: his children, Albert Childs, Jr. (Irma) of Pascagoula, Lorenzo Childs (Tracy) of Staley Heights, Robert Childs (Billie Jo) of Birmingham, Alabama, Matthew Childs (Tamekia) of Birmingham, Alabama, Dorothy Childs Tubbs (Charlie) of Marion, Linda Akins (Manual) of Fayetteville, Dynethia Childs (Kim) of Midotaian, Flora Gilstrap of Huntsville, Brenda Tubbs (Paul) of Marion, Alabama, Daisy Childs Christian (Melvin) of Marion, Alabama and Giovanna Childs Howard (Desean) of Marion, Alabama; his daughter-in-law Barbara Belcher Childs of Marion, Alabama; his siblings, Delethia of Cleveland, Ohio, Henry Childs of Newbern and Nathaniel Childs (Juanita); his siblings-in-law, Eli Swann and Minnie Dunn (Gilbert); and his grandchildren, Angela Childs Carter (Kevin), Savanna Howard, Princess Christian, Zaria Childs, Derrick Childs, Melvin Christian, Jr., Denzel Childs and DeKerius Childs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; especially his friends.
