He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Smith and Myrtle Smith; and his siblings, Carl, Aaron, Johnny Smith and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Smith; his children, Kristi Mitchell (Michael) and Marc Culver (Tracy); his granddaughters, Madison, Savanna, Maggie and Karoline; and his siblings, Martha Ann Geesling (Bobby) and Clifton Smith (Martha).
