It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Franklin Spann of Margaret, Alabama, born in Opp, Alabama, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Spann and Lavonia Thornton Spann; and his siblings, Helen Aliene Spann, Mildred Duane Littlefield and James Daniel Spann.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Nachtwey Spann; his son William "Randy" Spann (B. B.); his grandchildren, Andrew Wayne Raley (Miranda), Emily Elizabeth Spann and Marisa Grace Spann; his sisters, Liz Dursema, Peggy Wiggins, Opal Pitts, Debra Anderson and Wanda Clark (Austin); and his sister-in-law Rebecca Campbell (Tom). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
