He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byron and Zelma Lucille Lewis; and his siblings, Juanita Hagen, Barbara Hawkins and Bill Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Sybil Lewis; his sons, Tommy (Lynn) and Mark (Regina); his grandchildren, Ashley (Daniel), Will (Alex), Victoria (Haley) and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Avery and Liam; and his brother Bobby.
