He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carson Ash and Eartis Idell Lovell Ash; his wife Margaret Jean Grizzard "Peggy" Ash; and his sister Margaret Ash Adams. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Ash Baskerville and William Randolph "Randy" Ash (Lisa); his granddaughter Melanie Margaret Baskerville; his nephew Mike Adams; and his pet Savannah.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials honoring the life of Bill Ash may be directed to Lakeside Baptist Church or to a charity of choice.
