He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hackney and Nettie Hackney; his siblings, George Hackney, Marie Hackney and Analeen Wilkinson; his grandson Kenneth Musgrove; and his wife Margaret Hackney.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Poplin (Cliff), Donald Hackney, Ronald Hackney (Joyce) and Michelle Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jessica Lenertz (Bryan), Tonya Johnston (Thomas), Ron Hackney (Shannon), Meagan Hackney, Jennifer Adcock (Travis), Edward Hackney, Joshua Hackney, Frankie Myers, Michaela Matz (Harold), Skylar Lawrence (Ray) and Taylor Hackney; his brother Norman Hackney (Ann); and his pet Albert.
