He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ann Evans (Peggy); and his son-in-law David Meadows. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Griffin (Lyles), Wendy Meadows and Joanne Phillips (Jim); his grandchildren, Jonathan Griffin (Mary Katherine), Steven Griffin, Lindsey Cummings (Jason) and David Meadows; and his great grandchildren, Ella Kate, Ann Margaret, Alice Kathleen and Grace Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, http://www.stjude.org, or ALSAC/St.
