She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Grooms and Mary Deason Grooms; her husband Lee Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Leoid LeCroy, Louise LeCroy and E. J. Grooms.
She is survived by: her son Barry Lee Smith of Maplesville; her granddaughters, Andrea Danielle Smith Carroll (Brian) of Maplesville and Reagan Lee Smith of Clanton; and her nieces, Cathy Marcus (Alan) of Clanton, Tommie Smith (Peter) of Maplesville, Bobbie LeCroy Lansdown and Stacy Grooms Bryant of Birmingham.
The family request no flowers, but memorial contributions may be made to the Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
