He is survived by: his wife Bettye Lowery; his daughters, Bettye Miriam Ratliff (Michael Riggs) and Julie Hannah Chapman (Phillip); his grandchildren, Roddy Aaron Ratliff, Michael Davis Ratliff, Chanley Luin Ratliff, Britney Shaw (Stephen) and Brandon Wade Chapman; and his sister Vera Olivia Blackwood.
