With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Jean Cleckler of Maplesville, Alabama, born in Jefferson, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024 at the age of 58. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Eugene Champion (Linda) and Carolyn Ann Jones Champion; her husband Jimmy W. Cleckler; and her sister Peggy Lee Champion. She is survived by: her daughters, Caralyn Mims (Douglas) of Clanton and Kayla Cleckler of Maplesville; her grandchildren, Anna Claire Mims, Zach Cleckler, Owen Mims and Hunter Cleckler; and her siblings, Linda Smith (Larry) of Maplesville and Neal Champion (Shannon) of Clanton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
