It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Marshall Haigler of Maplesville, Alabama, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Haigler and Willodean Frith Haigler; his siblings, Walter Haigler and Faye Hightower (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Sonny Calloway and Susan Haigler.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Haigler of Maplesville; his daughters, Pam Smitherman of Clanton and Pat Green (Earl Wayne) of Marion; his grandchildren, Megan Bowles of Clanton, Jessica Smitherman (Shane) of Verbena, Haley Bowen (Bradley) of Opelika and Blake Terry (Cheyanne) of Plantersville; his great grandchildren, Brayden Bowles, Chloe Smitherman and Mary Ella Bowen; his siblings, Steve Haigler, Carl Haigler (Brenda), David Haigler (Sheila), Sue Calloway, Linda Smitherman (Bennie) and Carol Haigler; and his sister-in-law Joann Haigler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
