He was predeceased by: his parents, Henery Mills and Mary Gibson Mills. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Smitherman-Mills of Maplesville; his stepdaughters, Sandra Pate of Maplesville and Marie Burnett of Clanton; and his siblings, Waylan Mills of South Carolina, Gerald Mills (Yvonne) of Wetumpka, Jimmy Gibson (Tamy) of Oneonta and Debbie Aycock (Curtis) of Selma.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
