He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leary Benson and Alma Jean Benson; and his brother Jimmy Bernard Benson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Benson; his daughters, Sonya Benson, Stephenie Carroll (Mike) and Melissa Marquez (Philip); his sister Shiela; his cousin Donna Farris; his close friends, Sassy and TacoBell; his grandsons, Trey Benson and Tyler Spigner; and his brother-in-law Jim Yaw. He is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
