She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Carlton Strickland and Alma Collins Strickland Quattlebaum; and her daughter Karen Sue Spivey Holder. She is survived by: her husband Robert Earl Spivey; her children, Robert Earl Spivey, Jr. (Jackie), Tony Derek Spivey (Deanna), Lawana Ann Hall (Tony) and Amanda Carol Turner (Jim); and her siblings, Jerry Strickland (Kathryn), Jesse Ladon Strickland and Peggy Scott Hall (James). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
