She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis and Marylee Spivey (Kelly); her son Kenneth Earl Strickland; her siblings, Mary Ann Jones and William Cleveland Spivey; and her brothers-in-law, J. W. Yeomans, Donald McGrady and Bobby Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Cotton (Larry) and William Jeter Brock II; her grandchildren, Wes Roberts (Meagan), Mike Atwell (Kelley), Gabe Adams (Kim), Randall Adams (Amber), Larry Cotton (Tara), Johna Rivera (Todd), Toni Head (Nathan), Kendell Gibson (John), Philena Rodriguez (Sam), Melissa Harvell (Allen) and Tracy Dickerson (Chase); and her sisters, Frances Yeomans, Nell Judah (David), Jean McGrady and Diane Jordan Ms (Brock). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Research, or a local Animal Rescue Shelter.
