It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael W. Merritt of Malvern, Alabama, born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 70, on October 9, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Merritt and Gladys Davis Merritt; his granddaughters, Marley Katherine and Madelyn Elisabeth Ash; and his siblings, Betty Snell and Lawrence Merritt.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Adkins Merritt; his daughter Angela Lee (Shane); his grandchildren, Taylor Lee, Jackson Lee and Shan Ash; and his great grandchildren, Will Ash and Hunter Ash. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a public visitation and a private family graveside service will be held Monday, October 12, 2020 at Malvern Baptist Church with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
