With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Davis Kent of Malvern, Alabama, who passed away on September 2, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theadore "Theo" and Robbie Davis Kent; and his brothers, Harold "Gene" and Robert "Gerald" Kent. He is survived by: his wife Merlene Norton Kent; his sons, Jeff Walker (Susan) and Thomas Porterfield; his granddaughters, Brittney Adams (Anthony) and Jessica Kendall; his great grandchildren, Emily, Ryland, Aiden, Maddox and Mila; and his sisters-in-law, Gayle and Brenda Kent.
The family requests for all who attend to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
