He was predeceased by: his parents, G. C. Ready and Lina Clark Ready; his son Ricky Ray Ready; his grandson Ricky Ready; and his stepchildren, Vicky Chalker and Terry Justice.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ready; his sons, Dicky Ready (Sue) and Micky Ready (Joanie); his grandchildren, Nikki Ready, Andrew Ready (Shanta), Roger Ready (Melissa) and Dicky Ready Jr.; his great grandchild Teresa Ready; his stepsons, Ricky Justice (Gail) and Phillip Justice (Debra); and his stepson-in-law Mike Chalker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
