He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenia Reynolds Clark Briscoe and William G. Clark, Sr.; his stepfather Curtis Briscoe; his wife Linda Sue Clark; and his son William Rogers Clark.

He is survived by: his son Michael D. Clark (Catherine); his grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth Clark and Meaghan Clark Johnson (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Vivienne and Camille Johnson; his stepson David Dockendorf (Crickett); and his daughter-in-law Alison Clark.
