It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Douglas Davis Sr. of Madison, Alabama, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Davis. He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Zivat (Mark), Gina Ruth Davis Atnip and Vernon D. Davis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
