It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Pickett Garoppo of Madison, Alabama, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pickett and Mary Pickett. She is survived by: her daughters, Irene Garoppo of Madison, AL and Brenda; her son-in-law Butch Ruehlman of Huntsville, AL; her son Bruce; her daughter-in-law Anita Garoppo of Madison, AL; her grandchildren, Kristen Garoppo, Chelsy Palmer, Keith Burgess (Tiffany), Jeremy Garoppo (Amber) and Buddy Ruehlman; and her great grandchildren, BJ Ruehlman (Sterling), Zana Ruehlman, Colton Burgess, Trinity Ruehlman, Keelie Wood, Fisher Wood, Loralei Garoppo and Zephyr Garoppo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 2300 Beasley Ave, Huntsville, AL 35816, or the donor's favorite charity.
