She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Lopez Cardona Acevedo and Cruz Marrero Lopez; and her husband Silas Luther Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Atkinson, Silas "Charlie" Luther Brown III (Karen) and Jon William Brown; her grandchildren, John "Wes" Atkinson (Kim), Wendy Dunn (Mark), Silas Luther Brown IV (Katie), Currie Thompson (Zach), Christopher Brown and Kayla Barnett (Joshua); and her great grandchildren, John "Eli" Atkinson, Cooper Dunn, Mia Dunn, Paisley Thompson, Sadie Thompson, Baron Thompson, Tripp Thompson, Andrew Brown, Sebastian Barnett and Archie Barnett.
