It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rayceil Sanderson of Madison, Alabama, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lorel Whitworth and Gertrude Counts Whitworth; her husband Bryant Allen Sanderson; and her daughter Mary Catherine Singh. She is survived by: her sons, James Allen Sanderson (Cindi) of Madison and Shelby Ray Sanderson (Shirley) of Athens; and her grandchildren, Zac Singh, Rachel Bailey, Adam Sanderson, Mollie Carter, Christopher Sanderson, Matthew Sanderson and Adam Smith. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, several cousins, and a host of friends.
