She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Arlene Payne (Guile). She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Canedy; her children, David Canedy (Nancy) of Athens, AL and Kim McDowell (Joel) of Birmingham, AL; her sisters, Joan Sweitzer and Beth Sherwood (David) of Largo, FL; her grandchildren, Amy Hill (Theon), Jennifer Gregory (Ben), Joshua Canedy (Megan), Emily Canedy, Payne McDowell, Chadwick McDowell and Trenton McDowell; and her great grandchildren, Michael McDowell, Theon Hill Jr., Mia Hill, Ellison Hill and Chayleigh Canedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
