He is survived by: his parents, James Sommer and Linda Sommer; his wife Amanda Sommer; his sons, Noah Sommer, Oliver Sommer and Grayson Sommer; and his siblings, James Sommer and Maggie Osborn (Sommer). He is also survived by extended family and close, dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1055 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Huntsville Memory Gardens (6810 University Drive NW, Hwy 72 W, Huntsville, AL 35806).
