He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Koons (John) of Marietta, GA and Maggie Radzik (Brian) of Ave Maria, FL; his nephews, Ryan, Tate (Lindsay) and Trey Koons; his great-nephew Lawson Koons; his stepmother Opal Otto; and his pet Millie Mae. He is also survived by brothers, friends, and his dogs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
